Location: South Liverpool
Contract type: Full-time / Part-time (term time) / Long- or Short-term placements available
Salary: Competitive / Based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting class teachers in planning and delivering learning activities
  • Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
  • Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and preparing resources
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting to teachers
  • Promoting good behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development

Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (child ONLY) already held, or the ability to obtain one immediately
  • Right to work in the UK (valid documentation)
  • Ability to provide satisfactory references covering previous relevant work or voluntary experience
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience working in secondary schools or with young people
  • Experience of working one-to-one or with small groups
  • Experience of supporting students with SEN / behavioural needs
  • Any relevant qualification or training in education or child support
