Location: South Liverpool
Contract type: Full-time / Part-time (term time) / Long- or Short-term placements available
Salary: Competitive / Based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting class teachers in planning and delivering learning activities
- Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom organisation and preparing resources
- Monitoring student progress and reporting to teachers
- Promoting good behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate (child ONLY) already held, or the ability to obtain one immediately
- Right to work in the UK (valid documentation)
- Ability to provide satisfactory references covering previous relevant work or voluntary experience
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working in secondary schools or with young people
- Experience of working one-to-one or with small groups
- Experience of supporting students with SEN / behavioural needs
- Any relevant qualification or training in education or child support
