First Aider/ Nurse

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School First Aider/Nurse to join a supportive secondary school in the St Helens area. This is a long-term, full-time position, perfect for someone with a medical background who enjoys working with young people in an educational setting.

The Role:

As the school's First Aider/Nurse, you will:

• Provide first aid and medical support to students and staff during the school day

• Manage the medical room and maintain accurate health and incident records

• Administer prescribed medication in line with school policy

• Liaise with parents, carers, and healthcare professionals regarding student wellbeing

• Support the wider pastoral and safeguarding teams when needed

Requirements:

✅ Relevant First Aid qualification or Nursing qualification (RGN/RN)
✅ Experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
✅ Strong communication and record-keeping skills
✅ A caring, calm and professional approach
✅ Must have the Right to Work in the UK
✅ Hold a Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind Recruitment
