Cover Supervisor - Corby

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and well-structured secondary school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience-perfect for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or anyone passionate about supporting young people.

About the Role:

  • Supervising lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Delivering pre-prepared work to students and ensuring they stay on task

  • Managing behaviour in accordance with the school's policies

  • Encouraging a positive and focused classroom environment

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting (desirable but not essential)

  • Be confident in leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be reliable, flexible, and calm under pressure

  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
