Job Title: SEN Teacher - Primary SEN Unit
Location: Rotherham
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP


We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN unit within a welcoming primary school in Rotherham. This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible, working Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for teaching and supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEND.

  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports each child's individual needs.

  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for every pupil.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and SEN team, sharing best practice and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

  • Experience teaching within EYFS.

  • Proven experience working with pupils with SEND.

  • A nurturing, adaptable approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, starting ASAP.
