Job Title: SEN Teacher - Primary SEN Unit
Location: Rotherham
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN unit within a welcoming primary school in Rotherham. This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible, working Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for teaching and supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEND.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports each child's individual needs.
Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for every pupil.
Contribute to the wider school community and SEN team, sharing best practice and strategies.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
Experience teaching within EYFS.
Proven experience working with pupils with SEND.
A nurturing, adaptable approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, starting ASAP.
