Tradewind Are Recruiting - SEND Teaching Assistants Needed in Oldham!

Are you a teaching assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for full-time SEND Teaching Assistants for long-term temporary roles starting immediately in SEND schools and alternative education provisions in Oldham.

The Role:

Full-time, term-time only (8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri)
Supporting students aged 11-19 with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Communication Needs
Working 1:1 and in small groups
Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
Helping deliver and monitor Individual Education Plans
Liaising with teachers, parents, and external professionals
Team Teach qualifications would be beneficial but not essential

Experience in SEND is ideal, but we welcome applications from TAs with relevant experience in mainstream settings.

All Rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted
Oversubscribed SEND schools with excellent facilities
Supportive senior leadership
Providing specialist education for pupils with EHCPs for SEMH, autism, and speech and language needs

Requirements:

Experience of working with children aged 11 to 19 in a school, care home or community setting
A reference to confirm your experience of working with children
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
Full CV with employment and education history
Legal right to work full time in the UK
