School Caretaker - Secondary Schools across Bexley

Role Responsibilities:
Ensure the school premises and grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained.
Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and general DIY tasks.
Manage security, including unlocking and locking up the site.
Support with deliveries, setting up classrooms or halls for events, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Liaise with staff, contractors, and visitors in a professional and approachable manner.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a caretaker, site manager, or maintenance role (school experience desirable but not essential).
Practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and basic plumbing or electrical work.
A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Flexibility to work split shifts or occasional evenings/weekends if required.
