📍 Location: Denbigh, Denbighshire
💰 Pay: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
📅 Start Date: ASAP or after October half term
🕒 Full-time (Monday - Friday, term time only)

We're currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and friendly secondary school in Denbigh.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children or young people - whether in schools, youth work, or care - who wants to make a genuine difference in the classroom.
The role:
Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in both group and 1:1 settings
Assisting teachers with classroom activities, lesson preparation, and behaviour management
Encouraging engagement and helping pupils achieve their learning goals
Communicating confidently in Welsh and English to support bilingual learning
Helping create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
✅ Fluent Welsh and English communication skills
✅ Experience supporting children or young people (school, tutoring, youth work, or care background all considered)
✅ A positive, patient, and proactive approach
✅ A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
✅ Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) or willingness to register
