Primary Teacher - KS2

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for KS2 Primary teaching opportunities in Liverpool? We are seeking a passionate and committed KS2 Primary Teacher for an inclusive and welcoming Liverpool based primary school.

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Teach all areas of the school curriculum
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
• Maintain discipline
• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
• Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
• Demonstrable impact on pupils' progress in English and mathematics; skilled use of assessment and responsive teaching
• Proven inclusive practice for pupils with SEND, EAL and those who are disadvantaged
• High expectations, excellent behaviour management and strong classroom climate aligned to the school's and Tradewind's values
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

• An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Qualified Teacher Status
• A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible).
• Legal right to work in the UK
• 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science
• Undergraduate education degree or a degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• In-school teaching experience
• Fluent level of English, spoken and written
