URGENT: Full-Time English Teacher (KS2-KS3) - Outstanding Independent Prep School, Watford

An Outstanding-rated Independent Prep School in Watford is urgently seeking an inspiring English Teacher to join their thriving English department. This is a rare full-time, permanent opportunity to teach motivated pupils in Years 5-8 (KS2-KS3) within a school renowned for its academic excellence, exceptional leadership, and supportive community.

The Role

  • Position: Full-Time English Teacher (Years 5-8, KS2-KS3)

  • Start Date: After October Half-Term - 3rd November

  • Small class sizes of approximately 15 students with good behaviour

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils

  • Help pupils develop strong literacy, analytical, and creative writing skills

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the school's outstanding academic standards

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience teaching English at KS2 and/or KS3

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young learners

  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
