SEN Teaching Assistant - Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Tradewind Education are partnered with a Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire Secondary School seeking a supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from either Autumn 2 (November 2025) or Spring Term (January 2026).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group intervention support for SEN pupils
  • Assist in adaptive teaching methods to maximise and engagement
  • Encourage personal development and growth in students
  • Support classroom management and promotion of positive behaviours
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to support learning, IEPs and EHCPs

What You'll Need:

  • A genuine interest in supporting students with special educational needs
  • Patience, empathy, and outstanding communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a structured staff team
  • Experience in working with children and young people
  • A strong understanding of SEN
