Teaching Assistant - SEND Resource Base (Tameside Primary School)
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, until July
Pay: £95 per day (PAYE)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated Primary School in Tameside. This full-time role is based within a specialist SEND resource base, supporting children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who have complex learning needs.
You will be providing 1:1 support, helping to create a safe and nurturing environment where every child can access learning and achieve personal progress. This role is available immediately and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally those with complex needs
* Confidence in delivering 1:1 support and working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo
* A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
* A relevant TA qualification or equivalent school-based experience
