Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with well-established and inclusive secondary schools in Ruislip to recruit professional and organised Student Services Assistants. These are full-time, long-term positions (Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm) offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of school operations while supporting students and staff.

Role Overview

The Student Services Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the school and providing high-quality support to students, staff, and visitors. You will be a key point of contact for the school community, helping to maintain a welcoming, organised, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the pastoral and student services teams.

• Manage attendance records, student enquiries, and school data systems accurately and efficiently.

• Assist with student welfare, pastoral guidance, and follow-up support where required.

• Support school events, assemblies, and daily routines to ensure smooth operations.

• Act as a professional first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors.

• Maintain confidentiality and support safeguarding procedures at all times.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
