Early Years Lead - Folkestone

  • Full-time Monday to Friday
  • January 2026 start to at least July 2026
  • MPS/UPS plus TLR

Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years practitioner looking for your next challenge?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of our client schools in the Folkestone area, for a skilled and dedicated Early Years Lead to join.

The schools we work with have a specially resourced provision for children with additional needs, such as hearing impairements so SEN experience is essential to excel in this role.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Early Years teachers with proven expertise in Nursery and Reception. This is a Middle Leadership position that combines both teaching and leadership responsibilities:

You will work closely with the Nursery Manager and the wider EYFS team to:

  • Oversee and enhance the Early Years curriculum and learning environment

  • Support and mentor staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning

  • Lead on assessment, planning and continuous improvement

  • Ensure outstanding provision and outcomes for all children

  • This is an advisory position where you will also observe the curriculum

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced Early Years teacher with excellent knowledge of EYFS practice and pedagogy

  • Has leadership or management experience within a Nursery or Early Years setting

  • Is passionate about child-centred learning and committed to inclusion and early intervention

  • Has strong communication and organisational skills

  • Is ready to make a real impact on children's early learning and development

  • Holds UK QTS
  • Has the legal right to work in the UK full-time
  • Holds or is willing to apply for an enhanced Child-only DBS on the update service. If you need a new one, we will refund you the £62 fee once you have completed 20 days of work for us!
