A highly regarded and forward-thinking primary school in Withington is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile PPA Teacher to join its dynamic team from January 2026. This is a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As the school's PPA Teacher, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all year groups, providing cover for teachers during their planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (EYFS to Year 6).
  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning in every classroom.
  • Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities.
  • Working closely with class teachers to ensure consistency and continuity in pupils' learning.
  • Contributing positively to the wider life of the school and upholding its values and vision.
