1:1 Teaching Assistant (Supply Work) - Nottingham

Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Supply / Temporary (Full-time or Part-time)
Pay: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's education?
We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Nottingham, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a supply basis.

You'll play a vital role in helping pupils reach their full potential by providing tailored, one-to-one support - both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, or communication difficulties.
• Assist with learning activities, behaviour management, and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Foster an inclusive, positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers.

About You

• Previous experience supporting children in a school or SEND setting is desirable.
• A calm, positive, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Flexibility to work across different schools and age groups.
