 A forward-thinking SEMH secondary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026.
About the Role
You'll be supporting students in KS3 and KS4, helping them engage with learning, build self-confidence, and manage their emotions in a safe and structured environment.
 Every day is different - from providing academic support in lessons to mentoring pupils one-to-one and helping them navigate social and emotional challenges.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people 
- Support learning in and outside the classroom 
- Manage challenging behaviour with calmness and consistency 
- Work closely with teachers, mentors, and pastoral staff to create a supportive atmosphere
