Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for an opportunity to be a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant at a Liverpool based primary school?

Main Duties

• To organise large numbers of pupils.
• General supervision of pupils during the service of meals, on the playground or in allocated classrooms during wet play.
• To actively promote good standards of table manners and eating habits as well as positive behaviour at all times.
• To organise and promote activities/games on the playground on a daily basis.
• Supervise children to/from their classrooms to the dining hall as and when required.
• Ensure that all working areas are clean and tidy at all times and that any spillages/accidents are dealt with in a timely manner.
• To undertake other duties as may be required by the Headteacher.
• Have basic first aid knowledge and the ability to administer first aid when necessary. Ensure accurate records are kept and any incidents reported to the relevant persons (training will be provided).
• To adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures
• Carry out responsibilities under common law and the Health and Safety Act and to adhere to the schools Health and Safety Policy.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience as a Supervisory Assistant
• An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Fluent level of English, spoken and written.
