Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Dance in a school located in Lambeth?

We are seeking a part-time Dance Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Lambeth on a maternity cover from January. This role will primarily cover Years 10 and 11 GCSE Dance, with occasional support for Key Stage 3 PE.

Start date: January - 1-year maternity contract
Salary: London MPS/UPS

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and inspirational Dance Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Dance with experience teaching GCSE Dance.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
* A passion for performing arts and the ability to foster creativity and confidence in students.
* Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working within a team.

Key responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality GCSE Dance lessons to Years 10 and 11.
* Provide engaging and inclusive support for Key Stage 3 PE.
* Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support learning.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
