Food Technology Teacher - Central Nottingham
Are you a qualified Food Technology Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity in Nottingham?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a creative and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school located in Central Nottingham. This full-time position is available From January 2026 and will continue until Easter 2026 with possibility to extend.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
Inspire pupils to develop essential life skills, creativity, and a passion for food, nutrition, and healthy living
Plan and teach high-quality lessons that balance both practical and theory-based learning
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Work collaboratively within the Design and Technology department to uphold high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialism in Food Technology or related Design & Technology subjects
Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
A commitment to delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
