They are seeking a passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (SEN TA / LSA) to join their dedicated staff team. This full-time position, starting as soon as possible, offers the chance to work closely with both the Class Teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored learning and emotional support for pupils with additional needs.

About the Role:

  • Providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions.

  • Adapting learning activities to suit individual pupil needs.

  • Supporting inclusion and promoting emotional wellbeing.

  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

  • Contributing to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) documentation and reviews.

Experience Supporting One or More of the Following Needs is Beneficial:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)

  • Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g., Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia)

  • Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

  • Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and more

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs in a school, nursery, or care setting.

  • Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable to a range of learning styles and needs.

  • Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting children's holistic development.

  • Work well independently and as part of a dynamic team.

  • Hold a relevant qualification or bring equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).
