Science Teacher - January 2026 Start (Fixed-Term to July 2026)
Location: St Helens
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Salary: £168.80-£232.56 per day (depending on experience)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in St Helens from January 2026 until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
* Inspire pupils of all abilities, fostering curiosity and a passion for scientific learning.
* Contribute to a supportive, forward-thinking department focused on high standards and student progress.
* Take an active role in planning and assessment
The Ideal Science Teacher will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
* Be committed to creating engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire learning
* Have a genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential
