Salary: £90 - £125 per day (PAYE, DOE)

SEND Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), Enfield

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and well-resourced Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a mainstream primary school in Enfield from January 2026.

The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, offering tailored interventions, structured routines, and small-group teaching within a calm and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for caring and proactive practitioners who are passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with cognitive learning needs

  • Assisting with differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans

  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interaction

  • Working collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, and wider school team to deliver targeted interventions

  • Helping to maintain an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND (in a school, SRP, or similar setting)

  • A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to learning support

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Understanding of learning difficulties, autism, and/or speech & language needs

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
