We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join schools across the Wirral, with immediate start opportunities available.
About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work across a range of year groups, providing high-quality classroom support and targeted interventions. You will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored academic, emotional, and behavioural support, helping students engage in learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in-class support to individuals and small groups
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom management
* Deliver planned interventions in literacy, numeracy, or SEND-focused areas
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Monitor, record, and report on student progress and behaviour
* Utilise Level 3 training and expertise to support learning both independently and alongside teaching staff
What We're Looking For:
* Level 3 TA qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working with children or young people in a school setting
* A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for education and student development
* A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience supporting students with SEND or behavioural needs
* Experience delivering structured interventions
