Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting a dedicated SEMH School in Bottesford, who are seeking a committed Primary Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a temp to perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to build their expertise within a specialist setting.
The Role
As the Primary Teacher within this SEMH setting, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for KS1/KS2 pupils with SEMH needs.
Create a nurturing, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Work closely with a skilled pastoral and leadership team to ensure pupils' emotional and academic development.
Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a child-centred approach to teaching.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
Essential: A strong understanding of SEMH and experience supporting pupils with additional needs
A nurturing, reflective, and proactive teaching style
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Due to the school's rural location in Bottesford, access to your own car and the ability to drive is essential
