SEN Teaching Assistant - South Birmingham
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a vibrant Birmingham school.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties).
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with SEN children (school or care setting).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) desirable.
