🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - Northwich
Pay: £88.94-£110 per day (DOE)
Location: Northwich
Start: ASAP / January

A supportive and nurturing school in Northwich is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. You'll be working closely with pupils who have additional learning needs, helping them feel confident, safe, and supported throughout the school day.

Role Overview:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.)

  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

  • Assist with routines, transitions, and emotional regulation

  • Work alongside the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targeted interventions

  • Build positive relationships with pupils to boost engagement and progress

  • Support with behaviour management using a calm, consistent approach

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children with additional needs (school, care, youth work, mentoring, etc.)

  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • Be able to follow support plans and communicate well with staff

  • Bring a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping young people
