Job Description
Are you a reflective and committed English Teacher with experience planning, delivering and resourcing outstanding lessons to KS3 pupils
Do you have experience teaching English in the UK or overseas and hold QTS?
If so, then Tradewind are keen to speak to you! We are working in partnership with a wonderful school in the Merton area who are looking for English and Drama specialist teacher to deliver lessons across the schools on a full time basis starting in January 2026.
This role Will pay between M1 - £40,317 and M6 - £62,496 dependant on experience and for the right candidate there is also an opportunity to secure a permanent contract. This role will only be coverign KS3 classes.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have QTS teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching the English curriculum in UK secondary schools
- Have a proven track record of rapidly and sustainable raising standards at a school wide level
- Be sensitive to the needs and backgrounds of some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people
- Have passion and interest in your subject and be committed to the wider life and ethos of schools
- Be available now for full time work
