🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2 (1:1 Support - SEMH)
Full-Time | Primary School | Camden 🌟

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school based in Camden. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis who has Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and an EHCP in place.

About the Role

  • Providing consistent 1:1 support for a KS2 child with SEMH

  • Following and implementing the pupil's EHCP targets

  • Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and learning engagement

  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

  • Encouraging positive relationships and promoting resilience and independence

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour

  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Ability to build strong rapport and communicate effectively

  • Resilience and confidence in managing dysregulation or emotional outbursts

  • A proactive, child-centered practitioner

  • Available full-time, Monday to Friday
