Unqualified PE Teacher

Secondary schools across Bristol are urgently seeking energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join their PE departments as Unqualified PE Teachers, starting ASAP or from January 2026. With flexible and full-time roles available, you'll gain valuable classroom and practical PE experience while receiving training and ongoing support from experienced staff.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering pre-planned PE lessons and classroom-based cover across KS3-KS4
  • Leading practical sports sessions and promoting physical fitness
  • Managing behaviour and fostering a positive, active learning environment
  • Supporting students' progress, wellbeing, and engagement
  • Working with the school's PE team to encourage participation and inclusion

We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people (coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work etc.)
  • Confident communicators who can motivate and manage groups effectively
  • Energetic, proactive, and adaptable individuals with a passion for PE and sport
  • Those considering teacher training (PGCE/SCITT) or long-term careers in education
  • Reliable, enthusiastic team players who want to make a difference
