Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to support a friendly primary school in Sefton from January.

About the role:
This role is perfect for someone with experience working with children in any setting who wants to move into a school environment. You'll support the class teacher, help pupils stay focused, and play an important part in creating a positive, calm classroom.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils during lessons and small group tasks

  • Helping children stay engaged and follow routines

  • Assisting the class teacher with activities and preparation

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and good learning habits

  • Providing extra support to pupils who need it

  • Building positive relationships with children across the class

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with children (youth work, coaching, mentoring, childcare, etc.)

  • Patient, approachable, and confident

  • A genuine interest in moving into education

  • Able to work full-time from January
