Year 6 Teacher - Introduction
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a supportive, high-performing Primary School in the Gainsborough area who are seeking an exceptional Year 6 Teacher to join their team from January. About the Role - Year 6 Teacher
The school are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective and professional Year 6 Teacher to take on either a full-time post or a 4-day-a-week timetable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching a well-behaved, engaged Year 6 class
- Working closely with Year 6 colleagues on shared planning
- Delivering high-quality lessons and preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments
- Using assessment effectively to support pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Communicating clearly with parents and the wider school community
This role is suited to teachers who enjoy responsibility, thrive in a supportive setting, and can help pupils reach their full potential in this important year group.

- A committed, motivated KS2 practitioner (Year 6 experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, structured lessons
