Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a large, Ofsted Outstanding sixth form college in central Manchester in their search for a part time Italian supply teacher to join their thriving modern languages department.

This is a part time role to cover a temporary absence between 13 January and 12 February 2026.

The Role

• Position: Teacher of A Level Italian (AQA exam board)
• Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 4pm
• The college are looking for a confident specialist Italian teacher who can deliver excellent A level Italian lessons on a part time supply basis.
• Applications are welcomed from early career teachers (ECTs), experienced QTS teachers, or FE lecturers with A Level Psychology teaching experience.

Requirements

To join Tradewind and be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Hold QTS, QTLS, or a relevant FE teaching qualification (such as PGCE14+ or PGCEFE)
• Provide a CV detailing full education and employment history, explaining any gaps
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide professional references
• Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
