Maths Teacher - Wirral - Long-Term Position from January

Location: Wirral (Secondary School)
Start Date: January
Contract: Long-term supply (until at least Easter)
Pay: Up to £223.56 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term teaching role in a supportive Wirral secondary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed KS3 and KS4 Maths Teacher to join a well-established school community from January, covering a long-term staff absence until at least Easter.

Our client schools is seeking a Maths Teacher who will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

  • Teach topics including algebra, geometry, number, ratio, statistics and problem-solving.

  • Prepare students for GCSE Maths through high-quality teaching, assessment and feedback.

  • Contribute to the Maths department's planning and collaborative curriculum development.

  • Create a positive, supportive and well-managed classroom environment.

  • Work closely with colleagues to uphold the school's values, standards and expectations.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or QTLS).

  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.

  • Strong behaviour management and excellent classroom practice.

  • Someone reliable, adaptable and passionate about helping students succeed.
