Primary Teacher - Year 6 Maternity Cover - Doncaster
Are you an exceptional Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a long-term role with real impact?
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary teacher to cover a Year 6 class for a maternity leave at a supportive and welcoming primary school in the Doncaster area.
This is a fantastic, full-time opportunity to integrate seamlessly into a dynamic school community and guide a crucial Year 6 class through their final primary school year.
The Role:
  • Location: Primary school in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
  • Duration: Full-time, long-term maternity cover
  • Start Date: February half-term 2026
  • End Date: December 2026
We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated success and strong track record in a primary setting, ideally with recent Upper Key Stage 2 experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on English and Maths SATS preparation.
  • The ability to create a positive, focused, and challenging learning environment.
  • A reflective practitioner eager to contribute to school improvement and a team player mindset.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
