Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in the Chesterfield area? We are seeking enthusiastic educators to inspire the next generation across our thriving secondary schools, starting in January 2026.
We have a range of opportunities available for versatile teachers who can deliver high-quality lessons across History, Geography, and Religious Education (RE) at Key Stage 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level teaching for suitably experienced candidates.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging "mixed humanities" lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Assess student progress effectively and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with a supportive humanities team to develop shared planning resources and cross-curricular projects.
- Contribute to the school's enrichment activities, such as local heritage site visits.
- Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant humanities subject (e.g., History, Geography, RE).
- A strong classroom practitioner with a commitment to achieving the highest standards.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students and colleagues.
- An enhanced DBS check registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
