Tradewind Recruitment is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a 1:1 SEND and Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Market Rasen area. This role is full time Monday to Friday and will be long term until the end of the academic year.

Start Date: Easter 2025

As a 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a student with additional needs, offering vital support to ensure their educational journey is as enriching as possible. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing individualised assistance to the assigned student.
  • Implementing strategies to support the student's learning and development.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt and tailor lessons as needed.
  • Assisting with the student's personal care and well-being.
  • Monitoring and recording progress, communicating effectively with parents and the school team.

Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviour and additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of individual students.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment.
