Food Technology Teacher - Supply Role (Secondary School, St Helens)
Start Date: January | Short-Term Supply Until February Half-Term
Pay: Up to £223.56 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a high-performing secondary school in St Helens to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a short-term supply teaching role starting in January, initially covering an absence until February half-term.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Food Technology Teacher or Design & Technology Teacher (Food Specialism) looking for a flexible supply role within a supportive and well-structured secondary setting.

The Role

  • Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical Food Tech lessons
  • Ensuring a safe and well-managed classroom environment
  • Short-term supply cover with clear schemes of work in place
  • Working within a supportive department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Food Technology Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Technology
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for practical learning and student engagement
  • Available from January for short-term supply work
