EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing (half-term by half-term)
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible at a welcoming primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne. This role is to cover a planned absence and will be offered on a half-term by half-term basis.
The Role:
You will be supporting a child in EYFS on a 1:1 basis. The pupil has a range of undiagnosed needs and presents behavioural challenges, therefore experience supporting SEND and behaviour management is essential. You will also be expected to support the delivery of Phonics, so a good working knowledge of this is required.

The school is located in Ashton and is easily accessible by car. Public transport options are limited unless you are local. There is free on-site staff parking, with spaces always available. The school has a fantastic reputation within the local community and offers a supportive working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience working within UK schools
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly within EYFS/KS1
Confidence supporting behavioural needs
Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and Phonics
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply), overseas police checks if applicable, and professional references
A CV covering your full employment history
