Tradewind partnered Secondary School located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join their Special Educational Needs Department - The school prides itself on inclusion and wellbeing, offering excellent CPD and mentorship for new staff.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one and small group intervention, support emotional regulation, and collaborate with teaching staff to ensure personalised learning plans are implemented effectively.
Key Duties:
- Classroom and SEN support across KS3/4
- Support behaviour management and student wellbeing
- Work closely with SENCO and pastoral staff
Essential Skills:
- Experience supporting children and young people
- Empathy, patience and communication strength
- Ability to build positive relationships
