Are you an experienced and passionate Teacher of English looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity in the Barrow-in-Furness area? Tradewind Recruitment is working with an OFSTED-rated 'Good' mainstream secondary school seeking a committed English Teacher from January 2026 through to Summer 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term role, offering a competitive daily rate of up to £240 per day, depending on experience.
The Role:
You will:
Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan, mark and assess work in line with the National Curriculum
Provide clear instruction, guidance and classroom support
Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour

Requirements:
Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
QTS and a degree in English or a related subject
