SEN Teaching Assistant - KS1

Tradewind Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 at a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hackney, starting in January.

About the Role:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs in KS1

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development

  • Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and behaviour support

  • Help implement strategies outlined in pupils' EHCPs

  • Promote a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN TA or supporting children with additional needs

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners
