About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across various primary schools in the Sheffield area. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support classroom teachers across EYFS to Year 6, helping to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
Support students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher as needed.
Monitor and record student progress and report back to teachers.
Requirements:
Prior experience working in a primary classroom setting.
A Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt and support students of varying abilities.
