Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Cambride and surrounding areas
Salary: £150-£160 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible day-to-day supply / short-term / long-term opportunities
Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a range of welcoming primary schools who are seeking reliable Cover Teachers to support during staff absences. This role is ideal for qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced educators who enjoy working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
About the Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support pupils' learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
- Provide feedback to class teachers at the end of the day
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds QTS (or has strong primary teaching experience)
- Is confident teaching across the primary age range
- Is adaptable, reliable, and well-organised
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Enjoys working in different primary school settings
