Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors and Trainee Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cirencester and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, as well as graduates, aspiring teachers, career changers, parents returning to work, or anyone who has supported young people through other professional or voluntary roles.

🧑‍🏫 Your Day-to-Day Role:

Supervising classes using pre-prepared lesson plans

Creating a calm, structured and positive learning environment

Managing behaviour and keeping pupils focused and motivated

Supporting school staff and ensuring continuity of learning

🎓 Who We're Looking For:

Experienced Cover Supervisors or individuals keen to train

Graduates or those considering a future career in teaching

People with experience working with young people in any capacity

Confident, approachable communicators with strong presence

Enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable individuals

We offer FREE CPD, full training and ongoing support to help you build confidence and succeed in the classroom.

💼 What We Can Offer:

Regular work available 3-5 days per week (term time only)

Flexible roles to suit your availability

Competitive pay depending on experience and role

Typical annual earnings between £19,500 and £27,300 (based on 39 weeks per year)
