Preston | Full-Time, Long-Term (Part-Time Considered)
Start: ASAP - July 2026
£140-£240 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a secondary school in Preston that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Music, Music Specialist, or Music Graduate to join their team on a long-term basis.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality Music lessons across the curriculum, taking responsibility for planning, marking, and assessing students' work. You will provide clear guidance and direction in the classroom, supporting pupils to engage confidently with their learning and make consistent progress.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, along with a genuine passion for music education. To be considered for this role, you will need:
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
A relevant teaching qualification with QTS (preferred)
A degree in Music
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply), Overseas Police Clearances where applicable, and professional references
A CV covering the last 10 years of employment, where possible
The legal right to work in the UK
