SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Royston and surrounding areas
Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (term-time only)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and other special educational needs in a forward-thinking educational setting.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting learners with SEN who are patient, adaptable, and committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role:
- Support students during lessons and learning activities
- Assist learners with ASD, learning disabilities, and other additional needs to stay focused, engaged, and emotionally regulated
- Work with students both in the classroom and in specialist support provisions
- Build positive relationships and act as a consistent, trusted support figure
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with students with SEN, including ASD and learning disabilities
- Is patient, adaptable, and able to motivate and engage learners
- Is passionate about helping young people develop confidence, independence, and life skills
- Works well as part of a supportive teaching team
