Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a supportive and well-resourced school within the Bedford area.

You will be joining a well-established and welcoming team who will be on hand to support and help you settle in quickly.

Tradewind are looking for motivated Early Years professionals who make the most of every interaction with the children.

This is a full-time, term-time only role and will be temporary in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
* Lead small groups and early learning activities, promoting development through play
* Contribute to observations, assessments and learning journals
* Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all pupils
* Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements:

* Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential)
* Experience working within a nursery or school-based Early Years setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, caring approach
* Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service
