Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant

With EYFS at the heart of the school, they are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to support children's learning, development, and well-being within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will work closely with the EYFS team to nurture young learners and help them thrive during these crucial early years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support within EYFS

  • Support learning through play-based activities

  • Promote children's social, emotional, and communication development

  • Prepare and maintain learning resources and a stimulating classroom environment

  • Observe, assess, and record progress, feeding back to the class teacher

  • Support the delivery of individual learning plans

  • Assist with lunchtime supervision and outdoor play

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

  • Experience working within an Early Years setting

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A nurturing approach and genuine passion for Early Years education

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
