Supply Staff Needed - Daventry

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic education professional looking for flexible work in local schools? We are currently recruiting Supply Staff to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Daventry area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are confident in the classroom, have strong behaviour management skills, and are passionate about building positive relationships with students.

About the Role:
As a Supply Staff member, you will step into a variety of classroom and support roles, covering short-term and long-term absences. You may be working as a Supply Teacher, Cover Supervisor, or Support Staff member, depending on your experience and preferences. Your key responsibility will be to ensure continuity of learning while maintaining a calm, structured, and engaging classroom environment. You will be expected to follow lesson plans where provided, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students in staying focused, motivated, and on task.

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and confident individuals who can quickly build rapport with students and establish positive working relationships. You should have:

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain clear expectations in the classroom

• A warm, professional, and consistent approach to supporting young people

• The confidence to engage students of different ages and abilities

• Experience working in an educational setting (desirable but not essential, depending on role)

• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards working in different school environments

Requirements:

• An enhanced child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• The right to work in the UK

• Two professional references

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
