Cover Supervisor - Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Secondary schools in Market Harborough are seeking committed and reliable Cover Supervisors to join them on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with immediate starts available.

We are working closely with a number of inclusive and well-established schools who are looking for proactive individuals to support learning and provide consistency in the classroom, with the intention of offering permanent contracts to the right candidates.

The Role:

  • Supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout lessons

  • Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies

  • Report any concerns or incidents to senior staff

  • Support wider school responsibilities, including break and corridor duties

  • Act as a consistent, positive role model within the school community

  • Confident, calm classroom presence with good behaviour management skills

  • Flexible and professional approach to day-to-day challenges

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
